James C. Burmeister serves as Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President of the Company. Mr. Burmeister joined Libbey in March 2017 as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer; became Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in June 2018; and was appointed to the additional role of Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer in October 2019. Mr. Burmeister ceased serving as Chief Financial Officer on January 13, 2020. Mr. Burmeister came to Libbey from The Andersons, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANDE), where he served since 2014 as Vice President, Finance and Treasurer, managing the treasury, tax, investor relations, sourcing, business development and continuous improvement functions. Before joining The Andersons, Inc., Mr. Burmeister held roles of increasing responsibility in operations finance with Owens Corning (NYSE: OC), beginning in 2005 as Director of Finance of the cultured stone business and culminating in his role from 2013-2014 as Vice President, Finance of the roofing and asphalt division.
